Sfvi

Windows (made by Microsoft) XP is finally being taken over by Windows Vista. It may be flashier and more attractive but Vista has a few kinks to work out. XP has been taken of the shelves and that is disappointing. They will be losing MANY customers by doing this and this is the second big thing that is strange for Microsoft. Who's in charge here???

DS Lite on it's way!

My dad FINALLY sent in my DS Lite to Nintendo. The person was very easy to work with but then at the end he asked if they couldn't fix it, very, very, very, VERY, unlikely, did I want a different color...that sent my heart racing. The new Bruise color (that's what I call the Black and Blue one) looked pretty shabby but I had no idea what it looked like in real life. So, kinda hard to decide when one has no clue. Right? But I kept with my Black and Red DS. I was really annoyed that I didn't know what the Bruise looked like......

"T" to "M"

Call of Duty has been rated "T for Teen" for every game so far but now with Modern Warfare it has been upped to "M for Mature." This has been a major drop in customers despite the 9.0 Rating on Gamespot. Call of Duty has been a popular war game since it came out. It challenges customers and is a great multi-player game. It has out done Battlefront I and II, Medal of Honor, and, heh heh heh, Duck Hunt! Call of Duty made a good game here...but a slightly less violent version would do them some good.

Wii 360?.....Xii maybe...........?

Microsoft is apparently getting frustrated with Nintendo and to fight back it has been making the X-Remote. It is like an advanced version of the Wii-Remote, meaning it has a microphone 5 buttons instead of 2, who knows how it works....Well, here's a diagram to show you the back and what everything is. Many think this is insane. What I wonder is what the owners of the 360s are gonna do...I mean, will they think it's cool and take the risk of buying it? This is a weird choice for Xbox. What type of games will they have? It could be good though, because, you have to agree with me here, Xbox is known mostly for it's Shooter games so this could be kinda interesting with aiming and whatnot....

What Do You Think?

Well, everybody seems to be raving about what Handheld gaming system the should buy. Nintendo DS Lite or the Sony PSP. At first I thought it would be so great to have a PSP after I got my DS Lite. But now I'm not so sure. They are pretty darn great but very pricey. In itself it costs at least $120 more then the DS Lite at about $250. The games average out to be about $40 while the DS Lite has $30-$35. The PSP has Internet, a massive screen, music, videos, radio, TV (if paid for), and obviously many games. But overall they are way more expensive. The DS Lite is about $130 and is roughly the size of the PSP's screen. But the D.S. stands for Dual Screen meaning it flips open to make a bigger more interesting looking device. the top screen is a "look at" screen while the bottom is a neat little touch screen! In most games the menu on the starting of each game is placed on the bottom screen making an easier way to select things. You can shoot, swing swords and battle through perilous adventures in both Handhelds. The rest is up to YOU!!

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

Gran Turismo 5 has a prologue? You download on to your PlayStation 3, rather than buying it, It is still in the making and I don't think there is a due date for the full game. Gran Turismo, if you don't know, is known for it's incredible selection of cars and graphic, oh my, the graphics are INSANE! But, not for the gameplay, I'm most certainly not saying it's bad, but there are definitely games. Need for Speed is definitely better, but not in graphics and has a very low selection of cars. And if you have any other Gran Turismo you will know what to expect times two! Sounds like fun!

Xbox anyone?

Xbox consoles and games are totally gone and I hope Microsoft regrets it because it bugs me. I obviously have an Xbox, and am constantly looking out for games. I've beaten all of the games I have at least twice, and at max eight or nine times (Lego Star Wars I). My CD renderer doesn't work very well, so I have to wait about 5-6 minutes before it works. It kinda annoys me but it's a lot better then nothing! If you look at GameStop there was only three new games the last time I checked! The Big Two

In the Wii World right now there are some great games being introduced or has been introduced, including Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy. SMG is quite a bit older then SSBB but is every bit as good. Both holding a 9.5 score at GameSpot. Both totally worth there money! Both even worth MORE than there money! I prefer SSBB, but that's just me.

CRACKED HINGE!

My DS Lite has a broken hinge toward the corner. If this happens to you, DO NOT STRESS! It is seriously no big deal. Just don't use or open it. Get it fixed by a professional ASAP. I freaked out when this happened to me because it wobbled when attempted to be opened. This is so common that most places fix it for FREE. I think it is caused by when you snap the top half to far back, for to long, and to many times. SNAP! It cracks. Sorta annoying, but I'm living with it for now. Guitar Hero for DS

There is, for Nintendo DS, Guitar Hero: On Tour coming out sometime this summer which you strap only into the GBA GamePak. Strange? Indeed. You use the touch screen to strum only, coming with a guitar pick just for the occasion. Into the GamePak you put the buttons you will use to play this game. This is called the Guitar Grip. Only four buttons are used, though, due to the small size of the DS. So, less challenge for those who want it. I thought it would be really hard to hold it because you would have to lift your fingers, I would assume, to restrict playing accidental notes. But! There is a strap to put around the back of your hand. Very useful I would say. I suggest waiting for reviews on this game before buying it ASAP! It looks fun, but for $49.99 you just gotta wait. Okay, Custom Time is a new feature to Gmail. 10 times a year you can make it look like you sent an Email sooner than you really did! One person Even got RadioHead tickets for FREE by using the "first come first serve" scenario! You can make it look like Now, 1 Hour Ago, 6 Hours Ago or Custom. You can make it go back to April 1 2004, the first launch of Gmail. This is true. No lie. Look it up!!!!

My Friend Likes Eating Tape

I know it sounds crazy...BUT I'VE SEEN HIM DO IT!!! My friend, the owner of Flabby Chicken, the Website. He likes, see above, to EAT TAPE. He says that Duct Tape needs salt. He also says Scotch Tape gets stale after too long. What he prefers is clear tape and hockey tape. He's kinda crazy but he's still worth posting about.

Sonic the Role Player?

This may sound crazy, but I was reading Nintendo Power Magazine, and it said that The Blue Blur (a.k.a. Sonic the Hedgehog) is coming out sometime next year in RPG form (R-ole P-laying G-ame). It sounds slightly like DragonFable. That may encourage and discourage some. It's called The Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. You have a small group of 4 players out of 6 players available, Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna, Tails the Two-Tailed Fox, Rouge the Bat, Big the cat, and Amy Rose the Hedgehog.You may switch at any time at Tails's Workshop. For instance Sonic is faster but weaker than, say, Knuckles, so you may need Knuckles to bash a wall or something like that, or Tails to get to high places. It's being made by BioWare, who are known for there phenomenal RPGs. As you run a round in the 2D world of adventure you will have to get into some fight, it would be ridiculous if you didn't! What you do is pick from 5 attack choices of, Attack, Power Move, Defend, Item, or Flee. I don't know how they'll get any speed in there but it's International Law to have at least one loop-de-loop in a Sonic game. So there has to be at least some speed.
